Skellig Michael

• A UNESCO World Heritage site and ancient monastic settlement located on a remote island. Though not directly on the Ring, it’s a worthwhile detour for its history and dramatic setting.

Ladies View

• A scenic viewpoint offering panoramic vistas of Killarney’s lakes and mountains, named for the admiration expressed by Queen Victoria's ladies-in-waiting during a visit in 1861.

Cahersiveen and Staigue Fort

• Explore ancient stone forts and learn about Ireland’s rich Celtic history. Staigue Fort is particularly impressive, dating back to around 300–400 AD.

Waterville and Sneem

• Quaint villages known for their charm, cosy pubs, and welcoming locals. Waterville was a favourite retreat of Charlie Chaplin.

The route can be explored by car, bike, or guided tour. While the Ring of Kerry can be completed in a day, spending more time allows visitors to fully immerse themselves in its natural and cultural wonders.

The Cliffs of Moher, located in County Clare on Ireland's west coast, are one of the country's most iconic and breathtaking natural landmarks. Stretching for approximately 14 kilometers (8.7 miles) along the Atlantic Ocean, these dramatic cliffs reach a height of 214 meters (702 feet) at their highest point, offering panoramic views that attract visitors from all over the world. 

 The cliffs provide awe-inspiring vistas of the Atlantic Ocean, the Aran Islands, and the distant hills of Connemara. On clear days, the views are unparalleled, and sunsets here are magical. 

Best Time to Visit: Early morning or late afternoon to avoid crowds and catch the best light for photography.
